The X06 – Throttle by Wire Harness (TxW) is a next-generation Level 2 harness developed specifically for the Mercury3 ECU. Designed to streamline installation and reduce troubleshooting, this universal harness supports most throttle-by-wire configurations by providing complete TxW connectivity across all Mercury3 connectors.

Key Features & Design Points:

• Universal Application: Not plug-and-play – requires separate throttle and pedal connectors.

• Professional Finish: Supplied with PVC sleeving and heat shrink tubing for a neat final install.

• Built-in Relay: Includes a mechanical relay wired to meet TxW requirements, complete with an inline fuse for circuit protection.

• Shielded Signal Wires: All signal inputs are shielded for interference protection and grounded via a dedicated black wire to the TxW earth only.

Wiring Overview:

Pedal TPS (Shielded):

• TPS Signal – Blue

• +5V – Red

• Earth – Black

Throttle TPS (Shielded):

• TPS Signal – Blue

• +5V – Red

• Earth – Black

Crank Sensor (Shielded):

• RPM Signal – Blue

• +12V – Red

• Earth – Black

Throttle Motor (Shielded):

• Throttle Motor Positive – Red

• Throttle Motor Negative – Black

Additional Connections:

• Ignition Power – Orange

• Water Temperature Sensor – Blue

• BAT+ – 1x Red

• Ground for Screens/Sensors – Black

• Relay Set – 4 Wires

Important: All unused wires must be properly insulated to prevent short circuits or signal interference.
