Description

The Spitronics Mercury Coil Driver (2-Way) is a premium external ignition driver designed to power two basic coils without internal igniters. Available in configurations of 2×2, 4×4, and 6×6, this coil driver is epoxy-filled for durability and features advanced protection circuitry to ensure reliable operation even under short-circuit or fault conditions.

Capable of delivering a primary cutoff voltage of 360V, it generates approximately 36kV breakthrough voltage, providing strong spark energy for most performance ignition coils. The Mercury Coil Driver is compact and robust, making it suitable not only for Spitronics ECUs but also compatible with other ECU systems requiring external coil drivers.

The coil driver benefits from over-current and over-temperature protection, safeguarding both the unit and the ignition system in demanding environments.
